Growing up, I was inspired by my older cousin’s love for riding and showing, I knew that I wanted to do the same. At the age of 6, I was fortunate enough to begin taking lessons, and have never looked back.
Ever since, I’ve immersed myself in learning as much as I can, and taking every opportunity for more experience. I have shown throughout the rated and regional circuits, and I am currently a working student for Robin Johnson, a fantastic mentor. Some of my most recent accomplishments include finishing Champion in the 2022 Regional year-end Low Children’s Hunter and Low Children’s Medal Reserve Champion. I attended a tri-state finals invitational, Colonial Classic, where I finished Champion in Low Children’s out of more than 80 and won the 2’6 Classic with over 100 entries. In the 2023 show season I am showing in the Children’s Hunters and Gittings Horsemanship Medal.
I am a rising senior at Key School in Annapolis, Maryland. I’ve always valued finding a healthy balance between academics and athletics. During my junior year, I maintained a strong 3.53 GPA, and I’m excited to challenge myself with AP courses in my senior year. But it’s not all about school and horses! I enjoy working at my barn, staying active at the gym, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
The opportunity to ride at the collegiate level would be a dream come true. It’s a chance for all my hard work and dedication to pay off. Riding in college would also allow me to further develop my skills in balancing athletic and academic responsibilities. Since the start of my junior year I have been on the hunt to find the university that I believe best suits me. Once I find the perfect fit I cannot wait to commit myself to my future team and continuing to grow as a rider.
